Veterinary Technicians

  • Samantha, LVT

Samantha joined the team at Two Rivers in June 2015. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017.

Samantha currently lives in Christine, ND, with her husband, David, and furry family members Pepe, Lucy, and Freddy. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. Samantha also takes pride in managing the clinic’s inventory.

  • RyLee, LVT

Rylee has been passionate about animals since they found a lost kitten at age seven and insisted it was their “new sibling.” With a gentle touch and an extra stash of treats, Rylee has a way of making even the grumpiest patients purr or wag a tail. Their favorite part of vet med? “When pets ‘argue’ during check-ups – you’ll never convince a cat that the thermometer is their friend!”

  • Kayla, LVT

Kayla grew up in Wadena, Minnesota, and joined our team in September 2019. She graduated in May 2019 with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology from Ridgewater College’s Veterinary Technician Program. She currently lives in Fargo with her cat, Sammy.

Kayla enjoys working hands-on with the animals that come into the practice. Her special interest is learning how to interpret radiographs. She is also Fear Free Certified.

Kayla loves to hang out with friends and enjoys going on any kind of adventure/traveling.

  • Kaitie, LVT

Kaitie’s love for animals started with their family’s aging rescue dog, who taught them the magic of patience and belly rubs. Kaitie’s “treat trick” usually wins even the shyest patients over. What does she love most about the job? “The surprise hugs! There’s nothing better than a sudden, squirmy cuddle from a happy pup or kitten.”

  • Manda, LVT

Manda’s journey in vet med began with a pet lizard that stole her heart, and she hasn’t looked back since. Known for her endless patience and steady hands, Manda is an expert at making even the tiniest patients feel safe. Her favorite part of the job? “When a puppy thinks the stethoscope is a chew toy – it’s hard to keep a straight face!”

  • Karissa

Karissa believes that every pet has a unique personality, and they’re dedicated to discovering each one. From giving pep talks to pets to sneaking them extra treats, Karissa knows how to make animals feel at ease. Favorite vet med moment? “When a cat pretends they’re totally fine but still give you the side-eye. Cats are masters of silent judgment!”

  • Alyssa

Alyssa has been known to sing to the animals when no one’s watching, which the pets (and clients!) seem to love. Her happiest moments? “When a pet gives you ‘that look’ after you fix them up – it’s like a secret high-five!” Alyssa has a soft spot for “first vet visits” and claims there’s nothing more adorable than a baby animal trying to act brave.
